My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Asha is a young female dog who is very shy. She will need an adopter who will give her lots of time and patience. With that, she will make a wonderful, loyal companion. If you are looking for a small dog, please consider our precious Asha.

More about this rescue

ALMA Rescue is a So. Cal 501c3 who rescues dogs from throughout Mexico and provides them with all of the veterinary care they need. We provide ALL vaccinations, de-worming, flea/tick prevention, micro-chipping & spay and neuter surgery. We operate two "rescue homes:" one in Baja and one in Tijuana and our rescued pups have full time caretakers to ensure they get the best of care. We also put on multiple large FREE Spay and Neuter Clinics 2-3 times per year in both areas to help with the serious and heartbreaking pet overpopulation problem there. To date, we have fixed over 2500 animals! ALMA was founded by childhood friends Erin Riley-Carrasco and Suzie Williamson. ALMA Rescue has a dedicated group of wonderful volunteers who help transport and foster all of our rescued dogs. We are passionate about helping to stop animal suffering and encourage everyone to save a life and ADOPT DON'T SHOP!
