This helps Rocky Mountain Puppy Rescue with pet care costs.
Hey! My name is Drake! I am very comfortable out of the gate with all dogs. My foster brother is older than me and I am very respectful of his boundaries! I also am very playful, I love big stuffed toys best. I LOVE food and am very treat motivated. I am hesitant around new people and did take about a week to warm up to my foster but now love belly rubs and nose kisses and following her around. Typical cattle dog stuff over here :) When I feel comfortable enough to join her on the couch I love all the snuggles. My second favorite thing after food is outside. I would really love a yard as I like to spend most of the day going in and out and exploring. I do like to alert my foster family of noises outside so a house versus an apartment may be best because of my impressive voice for just a tiny lil sweet boy. I do have a cat that hangs around in my foster house and I am learning that cats are friends and not as scary as I think they are but I am not really ready to be friends with them yet - I also would do best in a home without fast movemnts and unpredictable behavior from humans, life out of the shelter is very new for me right now.
