My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

*Yawn* Oh, excuse me, I didn't see you there! I was just taking my first morning nap. Thank you for visiting my page! My name is Charlotte and I'm a gentle soul looking for nothing but love, care, and companionship. I see myself curling up on a comfy couch next to my favorite human, happily snoozing away (perhaps in front of a fireplace...?) and making biscuits. I'm a classy lady, but don't let that fool you - I can be quirky and whimsical as well! Just ask my one wonky ear (isn't it cute?). Anyway, thanks for stopping by, and I hope to see you soon!

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

When you adopt an animal, you’re not just saving the life of the animal you adopted. You’re also opening up space for the next animal in need. Our goal at the Morris Animal Refuge is to approach the adoption process holistically to make the best matches for our adopters and for our animals.

We are no longer requiring appointments or pre-approvals to adopt! Visit our shelter (1242 Lombard St) or PetSmart Adoption Center (2360 Oregon Ave.) during the following hours to adopt your new best friend. We will process your information at the time of adoption and in most cases your animal can go home with you on the same day.

More about this shelter

The Morris Animal Refuge is a 501(c)(3) shelter dedicated to helping the homeless, abandoned and unwanted pets of the Philadelphia region.
