Collier is an enchanting little tabby kitten with a heart full of love and a purr that can melt anyone's heart. She has beautiful eyes, an adorable face, soft fur and her sweet nature only adds to her charm. Collier loves to be cuddled and will happily snuggle up in your arms, purring contentedly as she enjoys the warmth and affection.

One of Collier favorite pastimes is watching the world outside the window. She can spend hours gazing at the birds, leaves, and everything else that catches her eye, her curiosity piqued by the ever-changing scenery. Despite her calm demeanor, Collier has a playful side and enjoys batting at toys and exploring her surroundings.

While we are a foster-based animal rescue and all of our dogs are in foster care, we do have a cat adoption space at our new Adoption & Wellness Center in Chaska. We also partner with local retail locations like PetSmart Richfield and Chuck & Don's Chanhassen to feature adoptable cats at their stores.

Carver-Scott Humane Society was founded in 1989 with the mission of connecting animals in need with people who care. Our vision is a world where every animal is safe, cared for, and loved.

In 2017, we introduced a new, innovative rescue philosophy based on our Four Pillars: TNR, Serve Where You Save, FurKeeps, and Adopters Welcome. As of 2018, we adopt over 500 dogs and cats into the community every year, with a nationally reported Live Release Rate of 97%. We serve over 1,000 Minnesota pets and their families annually through our surrender prevention program, FurKeeps, aiming to keep pets out of the shelter system in the first place.

CSHS focuses on serving and saving Minnesota pets, and we do not transport animals in from out of state. We do our best to prevent surrender, which creates capacity for us to transfer most of our animals from high-volume impounds and shelters throughout the state. For the past three years, we have transferred more animals from Minneapolis Animal Care & Control than any other animal welfare organization.
