My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Oreo, a 7-year-old Border collie/rat terrier mix, is everything you could ask for in a dog, with her sleek black and white coat, perky ears, and gorgeous brown eyes full of intelligence and love.

Very affectionate, Oreo loves hugs, kisses, pets, and scratches--anything that tells her she's safe and loved. Full of energy, when it's time for that, Oreo adores parks, and walks--any kind of exercise is great, as far as she's concerned. She's very playful, active, and eager to accept all-comers into her pack--adults, children, dogs, cats--doesn't matter, and her gentleness recommends her for any age family.

When it comes to manners, this honey-dog knows her stuff. Though still working on house breaking, she's, crate trained, shares her food and toys, does great on a leash, and loves to nap on her bed. And as if that weren't enough, she's terrific to handle for baths, nail trims, brushing, etc. PLUS, she's not a big barker.

Oreo's got it all--beauty, brains, etiquette, and sweetness that befits her name. Why not treat yourself and your family to the finest little cookie around, and take Oreo home?

More about this rescue

We are a tax exempt nonprofit 501c3 based in San Antonio,Texas. Formed in 2017, our mission is to raise funds for animal rescue and find forever homes for our adoptable cats and dogs. Donations are used for veterinary costs, intake fees to animal rescue providers, transport costs to rescue partners and animal fostering costs. To fund our charitable animal rescue efforts we rely solely on the much needed donations of our generous supporters. We can't do it without you!

Your donation directly helps the animals in need, as we do not draw any salaries. We rehabilitate and then adopt our cats and dogs to amazing pet owners not only in San Antonio but throughout the country. We work with many local shelters, rescues and individuals to save as many as we can.
