Summer is an awesome companion and loves to be with her people. She will find her way next to be near you during chores or to relax, or jump into your lap with her silky, soft fur for some good one-on-one love and attention. She would rather not be held, except on her terms. While in foster, Summer became fast friends with the rambunctious resident cats and is ok with small dogs. She is a sweet girl with growing confidence. Watch for a head tilt when curious about something new! Summer is always ready to play laser chase, with wand teaser toys, and tunnels, climb to the highest spot on the cat tree, and take a nap.

There is no obligation to adopt by completing an application, however, we do recommend submitting an application as soon as you find an animal you are interested in. We review applications in the order they are received.

Completed applications can be sent via email to adopt@jcapl.org , faxed to 919-300-5524 or delivered in person by visiting us at one of our adoption events on Saturdays at PetSmart in Garner (White Oak Shopping Center).
