LJ is a beautiful 3-year old male Corgi/American Pit Bull Terrier mix who was brought to the HSOV on September 2, 2024 by a Washington County Ohio Deputy Sheriff who picked her up on State Route 7 near Starlite in the Marietta Ohio area. LJ was accompanied by a handsome male Corgi mix (LJ) who is surely her brother. Neither LJ nor DJ were wearing a collar, and they were not microchipped.
LJ has a snow white short smooth coat, short chubby bowed front legs, a long body, a long tail, and an adorable white face with dark brown eyes, a large dark brown/brindle patch on the right side of her face, and large semi-erect ears.
LJ has a sweet affectionate personality. This little dollbaby loved attention when HSOV Kennel Tech Cadince Bibbee teamed up with Kennel Tech Emily Beaver to spent time with LJ and DJ on September 3rd while they had their Petfinder/Facebook photos taken.
LJ weighs 38 lbs. LJ doesn't appear to have been accustomed to walking on a leash, but she did remarkably well with Cadince by her side for gentle encouragement. We know that LJ will soon be walking on a leash 'like a pro' with our kennel techs/volunteers.
LJ and DJ will be spayed/neutered before being adopted. Naturally this awesome pair would love to find another home together.
UPDATE: We learned a few days after their arrival that this beautiful pair of siblings were actually surrendered by their family and were not strays. LJ's real name is Bulma. DJ's real name is Goku.
