Cat located in this city:Apopka
Cat’s Name: Cici
Cat’s Age & Sex: Cici 11 years old- female
Cat’s vetting history (spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped): both fixed and vaccinated
Animals story: (where found and reason for wanting to rehome):
Cici was rescued from ASPCA as a kitty. They have a new sibling (our 1yr old son) and they're both unhappy about it. . We just want to find her a more quiet home.
Personality (shy, social, likes to be held, lap cat? Likes or dislikes): Cici is a sweet girl who loves to be pet. Cici can be shy at times especially now with a 1 year old.- she likes to lay on her back with her legs in the air while sunbathing. She also snores sometimes. She likes chasing bugs and lizards.
Any Supplies that go with pet (food, litter, leash, cat box, bedding, toys): All food and cat box (cleaned) will be provided
What food is the cat eating (dry only, dry and wet): Hills science diet z/d wet and dry food. She will vomit if on something else and this is what the vet recommended.
:::::::::::Please know that cats need canned wetfood given DAILY. Why? Because cats have a low thirst drive and actually NEED the moisture from the wet food! Wet food is 75 % water (dry FOOD only 10%) and giving them wet food daily will help them avoid Urinary tract issues (which can lead to litter box avoidance), kidney disease, obesity issues linked to diabetes and cardiac issues. You will save on vet bills too! Limit the overly processed dry food and ensure cat eats all the wet food daily. At the VERY minimum each cat should get one 3oz. can of wet food a day or HALF of a 5.5oz. can a day (although we recommend double this).

*Please know, that when you bring your newly adopted cat or kitten home, it is always BEST to place him/her in a very small room (bathroom works great) with their litter box, food, water, and bed for a few days to a few weeks. This way the animal can adjust much quicker and get acclimated to the new environment with less stress. All cats/kittens need time to adjust, so if you adopt please allow this. Thank you.
