Hi, I’m Honey! As my name suggests, I’m as sweet as can be, with a beautiful honey-colored coat. I’m a 4-year-old female Pitbull mix, up to date on vaccines, microchipped, and spayed. My foster mom has done a great job helping me get used to my kennel and potty training. I’m on the smaller side, weighing about 47 pounds, and currently eating Purina Pro Plan Sensitive Skin & Stomach to keep me feeling my best.
I’m a happy, easygoing girl who loves to roam around the yard and occasionally get the zoomies when I’m feeling extra joyful! Indoors, I like to snuggle on the couch with my family. I’m not big on toys, but I enjoy chewing on plush bears and Nyla bones. I absolutely adore kids and people.
I’m looking for a forever home where I can be the only pet, with a family that will be patient and continue working on my training. I’ve been through some tough times, so I need a little time to warm up. My ideal family will also take safety precautions and kennel me when I’m home alone to ensure I stay safe and out of trouble. If you’re looking for a sweet, loyal companion, I’d love to meet you!

More about this rescue
We are a 501(c)3 non-profit organization dedicated to rescuing dogs from various Los Angeles shelters the day they are to be euthanized. Our goal is to help provide animals with a second chance to a happy life and to help reduce pet overpopulation through spay and neuter programs. Once rescued, we place our dogs into loving foster homes while they await adoption. We do not keep dogs in kennels. Placing the dogs in foster homes is the first step to rehabilitation, as it allows us to thoroughly evaluate a dog's demeanor and needs enabling us to make the perfect match of dog and permanent owner. We attribute our high rate of successful placement to our foster program. At Ace of Hearts, we do not discriminate against any breed, including those in the bully breed family. Additionally, Ace of Hearts is dedicated to educating the public on how to be responsible pet owners and on the importance of spaying and neutering. We believe the real solution to pet overpopulation is through spaying and neutering pets.
