Bonnie a sweet girl about 6 years old. She was surrendered to our vet who asked if we could help. Bonnie adores everyone she has met so far, and has even visited an Assisted Living to put smiles on the faces of the residents. Bonnie seems to do okay with dogs, but a meet and greet with another dog will be required before adoption.
Bonnie is pretty chill, so a calmer home would be excellent for her!
It is possible she will have chronic skin issues from allergies, so being able to manage that is needed for her adoption. Things like better diet, baths and supplements can go a long way!
When you meet Bonnie, you will fall in love. It's hard not to!
If you would like to make Bonnie a part of your family, fill out an application at www.barktownrescue.org
BONNIE'S ADOPTION FEE WILL BE SPONSORED THIS MONTH WITH AN APPROVED ADOPTER!
The shelter software system requires that we choose a predominant breed or breed mix for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable so for most of our dogs we are only guessing at the dog's predominant breed or breed mix. We strongly encourage you to select your new pet by looking at each dog's individual personality and pet qualities rather than relying on a breed label that is only our best guess.
Our adoption fees vary from $150 and up. All of our dogs are up to date on vaccines, heart worm preventives, and flea/tick medication, and will be spayed/neutered prior to adoption. Portions of your adoption fee also help care for the sick and injured animals that we take in. Thank you for supporting us and considering a rescue dog!
