My name is Moxie!

Moxie is around 9 months old! Not only is she adorable, but she is very intelligent! She is timid, standoffish and flighty when you first meet her, but she does warm up pretty fast! Moxie is a typical teenager and needs guidance and training to keep her from doing things she shouldn't such as counter surfing and chewing. If you are a high energy, you will enjoy this high energy girl. A home with other dogs would be beneficial to her to help burn her energy. She is doing well with crate training and house training. She would probably do well with older kids, but no small children as she could accidently knock them down! She really needs a tall, fenced yard as well just for safety! She walks pretty well on a leash and would likely LOVE hiking/running!

MOXIE'S ADOPTION FEE IS $170

The shelter software system requires that we choose a predominant breed or breed mix for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable so for most of our dogs we are only guessing at the dog's predominant breed or breed mix. We strongly encourage you to select your new pet by looking at each dog's individual personality and pet qualities rather than relying on a breed label that is only our best guess. 

Our adoption fees vary from $150 and up.  All of our dogs are up to date on vaccines, heart worm preventives, and flea/tick medication, and will be spayed/neutered prior to adoption. Portions of your adoption fee also help care for the sick and injured animals that we take in.  Thank you for supporting us and considering a rescue dog!
