My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Introducing Ari!

This sweet boy was recently returned to our care due to no fault of his own after being adopted from us as a kitten. Now, he's looking to find his furever home!

Ari is quite a talkative boy and while spending some time in the AFRP office, he greeted staff every morning with happy meows and head butts! He's a true foodie at heart and his favorite times of the day are always mealtimes, especially if his favorite person is hanging close by! Ari is on the hunt for a cuddle buddy, and someone who can shower him just as much love as he showers everyone else with! He's very people-oriented and would love to find a home with adult adopters or with families who have cat-savvy children over the age of 10! He may do fine in a home with one other calm cat, and may do just fine with a cat-savvy dog. At this time Ari prefers a simple and small family, he is not a candidate for large multi-pet homes (over two cats).

Ari is currently in foster care. An application must be submitted and approved online prior to scheduling a meet and greet.

Additional adoption info

Adoption fees help to cover the cost of the care the animal has received during their time with us, including spay/neuter, vaccines, microchipping, deworming, and flea treatment and basic foster care.

All potential adopters complete an application and are screened using a standardized series of questions by a trained adoption counselor. If the application and screening are satisfactory, a qualified adopter can complete a contract, pay the adoption fee and take the animal home.
