Meet Swayze! A staff and volunteer favorite- this boy always puts a smile on your face. Swayze is a sweet and social boy, who LOVES human affection. Swayze doesn't do well with other dogs so it's best if he goes home as the ONLY pet. Kids 5 and older would be fine for Swayze, as he is a very gentle boy. This handsome hippo does have some medical issues so it's important that whoever adopts him keep up with his care. If you are interested in this boy, apply for him today!

The first step to adopting a dog from the Rhode Island SPCA is filling out an adoption application. If your application is selected, you will be contacted and asked if you would like to schedule a meet & greet. Because of the volume of applications we receive, sometimes we can only respond to the selected applicant.
