Meet Charlie, the 8-year-old German Shepherd with a heart as big as his soulful eyes. This senior gentleman will enjoy taking life at a leisurely pace, making him the perfect companion for relaxed walks and cozy evenings. He finds himself at the shelter through no fault of his own, coming in as a stray. There will be things you will have to figure out together, like his housetraining, favorite type of play, and where he prefers to sleep. Think of the fun you will have figuring life out together. As you can see in his videos he has shown us so far that he is a steller fetcher and a fan of water. A tennis ball and chucker will surely be the way to his heart. Although his journey has hit a bump in the road, he's "adoptomistic" about finding a family who will cherish him as much as he'll cherish them!

Each adoption consists of an interview, application, counseling session, and adoption contract. All adoptions are handled on a case-by-case basis, but most adoptions are first-come, first-served, and holds cannot be placed in advance for someone to meet with an animal.
