My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

🐾 Meet Chloe: Your New Shadow! 🐾

Looking for a loyal companion who’ll be your shadow? Meet Chloe, the sweet and quiet girl who finds joy in the little things—like yummy treats, shaded walks, and cozy beds! Chloe loves to be close, so if you're in the office, expect her to be right at your feet, following you even to the bathroom (occasionally with a little wagging tail)!

Chloe enjoys her walks and while she might pull a bit, a gentle "no" and she's right back to being your perfect shadow. She’s not a fan of other female dogs and can be selective with male dogs—Chloe knows your heart has limited space, and she wants all of it!

Treat time is a delight with Chloe, especially if you have some Beggin' Strips on hand. She’s super gentle, so no worries about your fingers—just lots of tail wags! Chloe takes her time with meals, savoring every bite, so there's no need for any special bowls.

With her mild manners, Chloe rarely jumps or pushes boundaries, so you can relax knowing she won’t bolt out the door. She’s also good with kids, especially older ones who understand the importance of nap time and respecting her space.

If Chloe sounds like your perfect companion, we’d love to hear from you! Message us on Facebook or call/text at 256-960-1408 for more info. 🐕❤️

More about this shelter

The Marshall County Animal Control shelter is located in Albertville, Alabama. We pick up stray dogs across Marshall County with the exception of Albertville, Arab, Boaz, Guntersville, and Grant city limits. When picked up, dogs are help on their "stray hold" for 7 days to provide owners an opportunity to reclaim their dog. Afterwards, dogs are available for adoption or rescue.
