If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
I got June in October of 2021 from a shelter she was 8 weeks old. I fostered her until she was old enough to be spayed.
She is a one person cat, and needs someone patient and carring enough to be that for her. Shes very sweet once she gets comfortable, loves being pet while eating and head and cheek scratches. But shes very defensive and takes time to gain her comfort and trust.
she gets used to other animals like dogs and cats but doesn't love being around them but will absolutely grow to tolerate them. She plays with my parents yorkshir, playing chase. But she doesnt start fights with anyone just defensive of herself and safe space when she feels threatened.
She acts like she doesnt like being held but she purrs in my arms all the time and will lean against you when youre scratching her head.
She likes the cheap kibble and doesnt tear up furniture as long as you have posts for her. She loves looking out windows at birds. Shes terrified of the out doors but loves to hunt/play.
