Josie is a beautiful lemon beagle girl. She’s an active 4 year old who loves the outdoors and looking for squirrels, lizards, or anything else that catches her eyes or ears. She always greets you with a wagging tail, is ready to go for a walk in the neighborhood or a run around the backyard. She normally goes on two walks a day and would go on more if she could. She barks at some of the dogs on walks while others become friends. Josie would do well as an only dog or with another active dog to help work off some of her energy. She does understand the word ‘no’ and is a fast learner, especially with the mention of the word ‘chicken’. Food motivated, she literally ‘jumps for joy’ when feeding time. She has no issues with being crated overnight or during short outings. If allowed, she prefers her daytime naps on a sofa or chair. You may also find her basking in the sun. She is good with kids. Josie is an affectionate girl who loves to snuggle up to you on the sofa and roll over on her back for a good belly rub. She will give you back as much love as you give her.
