My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet our sweet San!

San was rescued from a kill shelter just before the euthanasia. Due to a minor skin issues and a malnourishment, he wasn't even given a fair chances to find his own family. Once we discovered that the shelter planned to put him down, we urged to pull him out and started the treatments.

He is fully treated and the hair grew back fully in affected areas. San can be a bit skittish in the beginning since he went through so much horrible life experiences at a such young age but once the trust is established, he can be the most playful, happy and a sweet little pup who can make a perfect life companionship. He enjoys walks and getting along very well with both big and small dog and cat friends. He is ready to melt your hearts with big smiles.

Please apply at www.welcomepawsrescue.org if you consider opening your heart and home to the sweet, San.

Personality: Initially shy, takes some time to open up, but becomes affectionate and lively once bonded with the owner and settled in the home. Can be independent, but shows a lot of affection towards the owner.
Interaction with other dogs: Can be shy at first, but there are no issues.
Interaction with cats: Can play and bother them.
House training: Goes outside to use the bathroom (uses pee pads if not done on time).
Crate trained: Currently in training.
Energy level: Has high energy, so will do well with a dog of similar energy level.
Handleability: Can be touched, but may not approach first.
Barking tendency: May bark when someone comes to the house, not when outside.
Tendency to escape: Can get scared in unfamiliar environments, so needs to be careful.
Appetite issues: Has a good appetite. Not aggressive towards food. Eats treats and food well.
Leash walking: Practicing walking on a leash. Walks better with other dogs.
Good in the car: Waits well in the car.
Destructive behavior: Currently teething, so may chew on shoes or fabric. Needs attention.
Needs a yard: Would be beneficial as there is a lot of energy.
Needs to live with other dogs: It would be good to have a dog with a matching energy level.
Can live in an apartment: No issues.

Go meet their pets

All our dogs fly from Korea to the US when their adoptions are finalized. Therefore, we cannot provide the "meet and greet." Multiple video clips will be provided, and we will help you walk through the steps to reassure the adopted dog and the adopter are the best match for each other. Some dogs are available for meet and greet if the dogs are fostered in the US.
