Meet Stubbz, a loyal and loving boy looking for his perfect match! Stubbz has his quirks, but with a family that is patient, kind, and understanding, he will thrive. One of his favorite things is going for car rides, where he’ll happily snuggle up next to you and enjoy the journey. He walks well on a leash and is starting to come around to playing with toys.

Stubbz would do best in a home with fewer visitors, or with a family willing to give him time to build trust through proper introductions. If needed, he’ll be content in a separate area until he gets familiar with new people. Once he forms a bond, Stubbz loves being the center of attention and even enjoys grooming and bath time.

More about this rescue

Arizona Small Dog Rescue is a non profit registered 501(c)3 no kill rescue shelter. We are a group of volunteers who have dedicated our lives to rescuing and saving homeless, unwanted, abandoned, neglected, and abused small dogs. We save most of our animals from kill shelters around the valley, but also accept owner surrenders and stray surrenders. Owner surrender fee’s vary depending on space and availability. We spay/neuter, vaccinate, medically examine, microchip, and evaluate and/or socialize all dogs that come into our rescue before placing up for adoption to pre-screened homes. We rescue many dogs every week and always have a wide variety of personalities and breeds available who would be a perfect fit for any family and any home.
