My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Bengie, a stunning 9-year-old female Bengal cat with a personality as unique as her beautiful coat! She is the perfect blend of affectionate and independent—she loves to cuddle and be petted, but only when she's in the mood. Her ideal home would understand her need for space and give her the freedom to approach on her own terms.

Bengie is great with people, including small children, as long as they know not to grab her. She prefers gentle interactions and will reward you with her trust and affection. While it may take her some time to warm up to other cats, she eventually becomes cordial and can coexist peacefully after a proper introduction.

One of Bengie’s favorite activities is receiving a “vacuum massage” — watch her video to see her rolling around in pleasure!

If you're looking for a loving companion with a bit of sass and a whole lot of character, Bengie could be the perfect addition to your home. Give her the time and patience she deserves, and you'll gain a loyal friend for life.

We believe Bengie is probably a purebred Bengal. She was born in approximately January 2015, has been spayed, and will be up to date on vaccinations prior to adoption.

More about this rescue

Angus & Friends is a new 501(c)(3) nonprofit in California. Angus was an approximately 15 y.o. orange tabby found on death's door by people who lived in his neighborhood who assumed he had a home. He didn't, but probably did at one time, because he turned out to be friendly, though very sick. We tried to save him, but he ultimately had to be put down because he was not recovering after a blood transfusion due to flea anemia. Our goal is to help as many homeless cats and kittens as possible to get off the mean streets and find a furrever home.
