My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Birthdate:  10/20/2023

Breed: One of a kind

They say you only meet your once in a lifetime friends once in a lifetime … Oh, ALFALFA.  That must be you!  Alfalfa and the rest of the Little Rascals came into our care from a really difficult environment, battling severe eye and upper respiratory infections, as well as malnutrition.

Now thriving, Alfalfa's eyes remain cloudy (from what he overcame) and his peripheral vision is iffy, but you wouldn’t be able to tell by the way he scampers and romps with such confidence!  While you can’t always make out the beautiful hazel hue of his eyes, what you can clearly see is his love for you, his curiosity for the world, and his eagerness to spend his days by your side. When you pet him, he’ll purr warmly and look up at you with softly squinted eyes and you just know he’s telling you how grateful he is. Alfalfa is so loyal and attuned to emotions, which has made him the perfect companion for his brother Porky. He appreciates a good butt-scratch, a snuggle under the covers, and playtime with his brother. Boy oh boy, he has so much heart. He is so beautiful to us - and now it’s your turn to love him.

Porky and Alfalfa are a bonded pair living in a foster home.  While they're not at the rescue, we'd be happy to arrange for you to meet them!

Before you can adopt, please complete an adoption questionnaire on our website at https://www.pawscrossedny.org/cat-adoption-questionnaire! Please understand that we cannot hold any pets. All adoptions are done on a first come, first adopt basis for pre-approved applicants.
