Meet Possum, the one-year-old teddy bear hamster with a heart full of potential and a fluffiness that's off the charts! Possum may be a bit on the shy side, but don't let that fool you-underneath that cautious exterior is a little adventurer just waiting for the right person to help him blossom. With those big, inquisitive eyes and his irresistibly soft coat, Possum is ready to find a forever home where he can truly come out of his shell.

Possum's shyness only adds to his charm. He's the kind of hamster who takes his time to warm up, but once he feels comfortable, he'll show you just how sweet and curious he can be. A little patience and gentle encouragement are all he needs to start exploring his world-and maybe even yours! He's got the potential to be quite the social butterfly, especially if you spend time with him every day, offering treats, and talking to him in a soft, reassuring voice.

To help Possum feel secure, he'll need a cozy, spacious cage filled with soft bedding for burrowing and a few hideouts where he can retreat whenever he needs some quiet time. Don't forget to provide a wheel for exercise-once he gains confidence, he'll love running off his energy! Chew toys are a must to keep his teeth healthy and to give him something fun to gnaw on when he's feeling playful.

Possum, like most hamsters, is nocturnal, so expect his activity levels to rise in the evening. This is the perfect time to interact with him, whether it's offering him a tasty treat, watching him explore, or simply letting him sniff your hand as he gets used to your scent.
