My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

Hi! I’m Kismet, a 14 month old, 13 pound bundle of purely adorable, cream Pomeranian excitement! I am absolutely beautiful with a unique tiny mohawk up the center of my forehead. I’m a puppy yet and like to act a wee bit alpha, not in a bad or aggressive way, but I do like to boss my foster packmates so other furry friends that are okay with this or will help me learn proper manners is a must. I absolutely love attention, and am a fan of snuggling in your lap, but I am still 95% puppy, so I cannot be still for too long. I am very busy, so an active family is important, but I do enjoy napping and settle easily. I have a soft mouth and take treats gently, am incredibly food motivated and have been working on learning basic commands. I’d love to have a furever family that is adventurous just like me. I’m not afraid of much. Vacuums, thunderstorms, etc don't phase me a bit. I LOVE to run and jump onto or off of just about anything. I skip steps and jump off the deck into the yard and I am a gold medal winner for my yard zoomies. A fenced yard is needed for me. I also don’t mind small spaces and I can wiggle to retrieve my ball or toys from under the couch all by myself… I enjoy playing and will entertain myself with toys if you are busy. I still chew on toys, but I don’t tear up beds, blankets or squeaky toys. Since I still have quite a bit of puppy energy, I am easily excitable. I have a prey drive and chase rabbits in the fenced yard. I would love to try lure chasing, as I am SUPER fast. Parkour or agility training would be good to keep me busy and expel some energy. I love other dogs and even my foster mom’s cat. I want to be his friend and love on him, but he seems cranky and not interested. I play with my Pommy foster brother for hours every day. He’s so much fun, so I’d love to have a furever sibling in my new home. I will sleep peacefully in a crate at night, but I do not like a crate when my foster mom leaves the house. I am not a fan of being left alone. A new mom or dad that works at home would be awesome! I am well-behaved when riding in the car, but do get car sick at times. I've used Dramamine on a longer trip and that seemed to help. I also tolerate a bath and grooming well. If you are active and have the extra time then I’d love to spend my life with you! To adopt Kismet, please complete an adoption application at peacelovepoms.rescuegroups.org. The $350 adoption donation includes core vaccines (Rabies, Parvo/Distemper, and Bordatella), Accuplex (Heart worm and Lyme test), fecal, microchip, bloodwork, neuter, and all the love you can handle! Go meet their pets

Peace Love and Poms Rescue is not a shelter environment. All our dogs are placed in loving foster homes where they are treated like family until a forever home is found. This means all approved applicants will need to make an appointment with the foster pawrents to meet their potential new pet.
