My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Jack is a spicy little puppy who is full of spunk and has not been affected at all by his difficult life thus far. Per his temperament test, Jack would make an excellent sport dog prospect. He's a higher drive dog who is confident and not at all passive; he knows what he wants, and he will work hard for it! He recovers from scary situations easily (or doesn't startle in the first place), and he shows just as much interest in playing with toys as he does "working" for food or interacting with a human His sunny disposition makes him so much fun to spend time with; Jack doesn't take life too seriously at all and clearly loves to have fun and play.

A couple of weeks out from his temperament test, Jack has chilled out a smidge, but his confident, bouncy, and inquisitive nature remains. He is doing a great job at being office dog, only spending a few moments playing and exploring before settling down in the dog bed closest to me!

Jack was dumped as young puppy with 8 other puppies -- right on FFAA's front porch inside a crate. We have no idea where he comes from, who his parents are, or why he and his family were dumped. However, we do not need to know those things because we choose to see the dog that we have in front of us right now in this very moment, and what we see in Jack is wonderful.

More about this shelter

Faithful Friends Animal Advocates, Inc is a non-profit organization committed to helping our community become a place where animals are treated with kindness and respect. Further, we want to be a voice for the welfare of animals in our community through various avenues.

We fulfill these goals by taking in homeless and vulnerable animals, rehabilitating, vetting, and preparing them for their future home, and ensuring that they are a good fit for those interested. Our goal is longevity - we are thorough when approving applications because we want their next home to be forever.

Our pledge to the animals under our charge knows no time limits. Our no-kill mission means that as long as it takes, we will keep searching for their perfect home. And if during that search, they need to rejoin our care, we welcome them with open arms no matter how long it has been.

People
From our paid staff to volunteers that support us at events and throughout the week, the dedicated and passionate community members that are involved in FFAA's mission are what keep us going. We always welcome new faces! If you are interested or know someone who would like to support our efforts, please contact us. We could not do it without our foster families, dog walkers, kennel cleaners, puppy and kitten socializers, event organizers, artists, chefs - everything we do is a group effort and thanks to the time and effort given freely and faithfully year after year.
