My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Naga is our sweet Pyrenees girl. She is as friendly as can be and is extremely gentle. She would make an amazing pal for someone with a lot of land or a farm for her to run around on!

She loves to sunbathe and be loved on! She can be a bit shy at first, but warms up to new people very quickly with some gentle pets.

More about this rescue

A New Leash on Life has a goal of saving all the adoptable pets about to die in the municipal shelters of Alabama until we become a NO KILL state. We rescue, provide veterinary care, provide a foster home or adoption center spot, and find adopters who are good matches for homeless dogs and cats...AND horses, pigs, rabbits, and any other animal who needs our help. All animals are fully vetted, including spay/neuter, microchip, vaccines, testing (HW for dogs, FIV/Felv for cats), and whatever else they need before adoption.
