My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Tess came into foster care as an orphan with her sister Tilly. She was just over a week old, and both girls were in rough shape, and needed a lot of TLC. Fortunately, they were both adopted by Tallulah, a nursing momma cat who was also in foster care with her own babies. Once in foster care, Tess began to thrive. Today, she is active and energetic with a charming personality that's the perfect "tortitude" mix of sassy, spunky, and sweet.Tess is currently a part of a big kitty family and she is the honorary big sister of the bunch. She is lively, fairly confident and inquisitive, and is an intelligent kitten who needs mental enrichment, and is currently learning to sit and give high fives. She's not one to rush into trouble, and is generally very well behaved if she's not bored. She can be very sweet and loving with her people, but she also loves spending time with her siblings, and is often not far from her sister Tilly, especially at nap time. She adores treats and snacks, especially Churu's, and she has a very healthy appetite for both food and fun. Her favorite toys are plastic springs, catnip mice, and dangling strings. She also really likes any toy that her siblings are playing with! She enjoys being outside on the catio, sunning herself while watching the birds and bugs. Since Tess has always been a part of a big family, she has never truly been alone before. She protests loudly on the rare occasions when she has had to be by herself, so she can be vocal when she's not happy. She was raised with big friendly playful dogs, but she still hisses and spats at them if they sneak up on her or catch her by surprise. Since she is pretty social but a bit independent too, she'd do best in a home where she's not by herself all the time, but where she can still have her own personal space. She would likely do well as an only cat, as a part of a pair, or with other pets.
