My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

How this pet arrived:
Noa was brought in by a community member on July 5, 2024.

Why this pet is the one for you:
Meet Noa, a pint-sized fluffball full of sass and spirit. What can we say about this little fluff ball? Does she like pets, not really, does she thoroughly enjoy her own space, absolutely, can you win her over with some tasty churu, quite possibly. She can be hesitant about new faces and places, so she'll need a gentle and patient family to help her feel safe. She is also looking for another social kitty in the home to show her the ropes. Noa dreams of a serene home without the hustle and bustle of young children or dogs. Noa is a huge fan of treats - it's definitely the way to her heart! If you're ready to earn her trust, we're hoping that Noa will reward you with sweetness and loyal companionship! To adopt Noa, bring a secure cat carrier to our Oceanside Campus today.

Shy/Fearful Cat: Noa requires a virtual behavior consult, please watch THIS video to learn more about them.

More about this shelter

San Diego Humane Society, an open-admission shelter, is creating a more humane world by inspiring compassion and advancing the welfare of animals and people. Our lifesaving safety net has helped San Diego become the largest city in the U.S. to keep healthy and treatable shelter animals from being euthanized. We are a private, independent, nonprofit organization that is not affiliated with any other humane society or society for the prevention of cruelty to animals.

With campuses in El Cajon, Escondido, Oceanside, Ramona and San Diego, we provide animal services for 14 cities within San Diego County. We not only care for 50,000 animals in our communities but also share the expertise we have gained through our innovative programs with shelters nationwide so they can save more lives in their communities.

While our influence is expanding nationally, our top priority is meeting the needs of San Diego. We provide exceptional care for all animals through world-class veterinary medicine, shelter and most of all: love.
