My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

How this pet arrived:
Noa was brought in by a community member on July 5, 2024.

Why this pet is the one for you:
Meet Noa, a shy and fearful feline looking for a patient and understanding home. Noa will need extended confinement as she adjusts to her new surroundings and builds trust with her new family. She'll thrive in a quiet home without children or dogs, where she can feel safe and secure. Noa may do okay with another cat-social cat who can help her come out of her shell and is required to have another cat-social cat in her new home. Come in and adopt Noa today! Don't forget to bring a secure cat carrier for a safe ride home!

Shy/Fearful Cat:  Noa requires a virtual behavior consult, please watch THIS video to learn more about them.

More about this shelter

San Diego Humane Society, an open-admission shelter, is creating a more humane world by inspiring compassion and advancing the welfare of animals and people. Our lifesaving safety net has helped San Diego become the largest city in the U.S. to keep healthy and treatable shelter animals from being euthanized. We are a private, independent, nonprofit organization that is not affiliated with any other humane society or society for the prevention of cruelty to animals.

With campuses in El Cajon, Escondido, Oceanside, Ramona and San Diego, we provide animal services for 14 cities within San Diego County. We not only care for 50,000 animals in our communities but also share the expertise we have gained through our innovative programs with shelters nationwide so they can save more lives in their communities.

While our influence is expanding nationally, our top priority is meeting the needs of San Diego. We provide exceptional care for all animals through world-class veterinary medicine, shelter and most of all: love.
