My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Please read the pet description IN IT'S ENTIRETY before applying.  Thank you for your cooperation.

NOT YET TAKING APPLICATIONS – NOT YET AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION

NEW INTAKE 9/3/2024: Seagull - female - DOB 3/20/2024 - currently 36.10 pounds - Old English Sheepdog/ Poodle mix

Reason for intake:  We were sent a screenshot of a dog posted on Facebook by another rescue group for an owner who was trying to rehome her.  Apparently, the owners worked all the time and just didn't have time for a puppy.  Seagull is the sweetest, most gentle large puppy.  We've already sent her to the groomer and now she's at the vet for spaying and everything else.  She does have large (what we believe to be) hygromas.  You can google the term to read more about it.   We will, however, have our vet give a diagnosis and remove them or leave them if they believe she's not in pain or discomfort.  Stay tuned for the beauty to be posted for adoption!

NOT TAKING APPLICATIONS:  Many dogs, particularly breeder, hoarder or senior dogs, can have multiple medical issues that need addressed.  Additionally, sometimes we take in young puppies requiring multiple vaccinations and/or quarantining.   In this particular case, we are not yet taking applications either due to age or possible illness or some other reason.  We will post when s(he) is ready for adoption.  In the interest of fairness, EARLY application submissions will NOT be considered.  Please note…  we cannot respond to messages/emails, etc., on dogs that are NOT yet available for adoption.  Please wait until the dog is available for adoption.  We will post him or her on Facebook in our Adoptable Dog Album pinned to the top of our page which you can follow at this link:  https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.416768288349589&type=3 OR you can keep checking our website at www.roadtorescuela.org.  We appreciate your cooperation and understanding.

Be responsible ~  Always spay/neuter, keep your dogs on heartworm prevention, vaccinate against disease... and if you bring a pet into your life, commit to that pet for life.  Blessings.
