My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

Please contact Wendy (wjwebber119@yahoo.com) for more information about this pet.

A Guardian Angel is covering half of Meadowlarke's Adoption Fee!

Meadowlarke found herself in quite the pickle when her and her housemates found themselves on the streets when their owner was evicted. For the past 2 years, Meadowlarke and her friends were cared for and fed everyday by their colony caretaker. After patiently waiting, it was finally Meadowlarke's turn to exit the streets and enter a comfy foster home. She is now safe and enjoying life inside. Meadowlarke is an absolute delight to have around. She is very affectionate with her foster mom and gets along great with her feline housemates. Meadowlarke would do best in quiet home without a lot of activity or noise.

Meadowlarke has a minor skin condition that is controlled easily with once daily oral medication.

Meadowlarke has been spayed, vaccinated against rabies and distemper, microchipped and tested negative for FIV and FeLV.

Additional adoption info

We offer an online adoption application at www.castwaycritters.org. We do check references, vet references, and housechecks. Once you are approved, you will be required to fill out an adoption agreement. Our animals have all been wormed, altered and vaccinated. Cats have been tested for FIV/FeLV. For more information, see our website at www.castawaycritters.org.

Adoption application

Go meet their pets

All of our animals are in foster care so please complete an application at our website (www.castawaycritters.org) before meeting them. Completing an application does not obligate you to adopt; however, it is required. Applications are processed in the order received in an effort to find the best match possible for both the dog and the adopter.

Please also check out our events page on our website as fosters sometimes bring their available animals out to meet people!

More about this rescue

We are a non-profit rescue group that takes in stray, abandoned, and sick animals, giving them medical and foster care until available for adoption. We offer low cost spay/neuter clinics to the public and a special program called Operation CatNIP for pet cats of low income qualified individuals and feral cats, and assist in TNR for cats.
