My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi! Im Jamila! I'm a little girl only two years old and I weigh 8 pounds, so I am a little on the small side. But I make up for it with my big heart. It's taking me awhile to feel safe and while I can't tell my foster family about my short life, I think they understand that growing up I lived on the streets, spending all my time hiding from predators and trying to survive. It's hard for me to relax - I mean even taking a drink of water or eating food and I'm on alert waiting for something to happen. But here in my foster home, I'm starting to feel safe and hoo-mans...man they are the best! They have these things called hands and I am so digging them. They pet me gently, play with me and let me snuggle with them. Toys are a little foreign to me, but I am starting to figure them out. If you are patient and kind and need a snuggle buddy, I'm your girl.
Please come visit me at my foster home and we can see if there is a fit.
