Presley is like a cute little Muppet! He was recently shaved down but his head is still fluffy. You are able to see his big eyes.
Presley's eyes say it all...just give me some lovin'! This Maltese Miniature Poodle mix is approximately one year old and is truly precious. He can be a bit shy at first but warms up and relaxes in your arms. He is ready to give you the companionship you want in exchange for some serious cuddle time.
Presley has now been in foster for over a week. He has become super playful! He loves his dog friend.
Presley is now in NE Denver in a foster home. He will be exposed to cats, dogs, and kids. He loves playing in the grass with his little dog pals. He was recently trimmed, with the exception of his head. He looks like a little Muppet.
Presley opens up in a controlled environment. When he feels safe, he is very playful with other dogs. So far, his safe space has included a small yard with other dogs. He did get a little nervous when surrounded by a larger group of people and louder city noises. So going for walks will be something he will have to work towards. He will need a small yard preferably a dog buddy in the beginning.

Over 75% of our dogs are in foster homes along the front range. The foster will get in touch to schedule meetings for their foster dog. Meetings will happen in/near their homes since that is where the dog is the most comfortable. We do want you to bring family members (human and dog) to the meeting! Dogs who are currently at our Windsor facility will have meetings there and a volunteer will reach out to schedule those meetings with you. Please be aware that we do not place our dogs on a first come, first served basis, but rather a best-fit placement. Never fear, applications are valid for a year so if the first dog you meet isn't a good fit, we will have plenty of time to find one that is.
