"Gus is the Cat at the Theatre Door
His name as I ought to have told you before
Is really Asparagus, but that's such a fuss
To pronounce that we usually call him
Just Gus"

At 9 years old, this seasoned theatre veteran has hung up his dance shoes and is waiting for his neuter surgery and a repair to a broken tooth (must have been a fall on stage)

Despite his fame, Gus is a very shy boy who will need some time to come out of his shell. Staff and volunteers have noted that he is gentle and quiet. If you have time, patience and a quiet home for Gus to learn how to build trust and assure himself that his surroundings are a safe place, please send in an application or stop by to visit.

The BC SPCA is a non-profit organization dedicated to protecting and enhancing the quality of life for domestic, farm and wild animals in British Columbia.
