Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Dena, is a tortie-tabby mix born March 2024. She is confident and kitten active. Her purr can be heard quickly when she is hear her trusted person. Dena is quiet except around mealtime, when she will let you know you are going to slow. She watches for you at the window and greet you at the door. Dena plays by herself with toys and interactively with you. When she isn’t doing that, she hops into your lap and enjoys petting and brushing. Dena enjoys watching the goings on out the window.

She is very friendly with known folks and hesitantly friendly with strangers after an hour or so. Dena likes adult male cats and her kitten siblings, but hasn’t met dogs. She should be fine with respectful children. Dena uses a scratching post and has fine litterbox habits. She would do best with another pet for a pal. Siblings are available.

This cat and others are available at Cat Tales Rescue. Cats have been vet checked, spayed/neutered, wormed, tested for FIV/FeLV, have distemper and rabies shots. Adoption fees are $200+tax, and for cats age 6+ the fee is $175+tax. Calicos and Siamese are $250+tx. If you are gone 7 or more hours a day, please consider adopting two cats, as one cat usually gets bored. Two cats are easier to care for than one (they self-entertain while you are at work), and they are emotionally healthier (don’t get lonely and bored).
