Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Cleo (A374943) is an adorable, adoptable mixed breed puppy! At just under a year old she weighs in at only 37lbs so she`s just an itty bitty thing that likely won`t get much bigger.
Enrichment Volunteer extraordinaire, Esther, spent some time with Cleo this week and reports that this little lady is not just all looks - she has some smart brains, too! Cleo was able to figure out a puzzle treat toy in no time and really enjoyed focusing on that task (bonus: it wore her out too).
Cleo has also enjoyed her time in the shelter`s playgroup program, and after several sessions it`s clear that her preferred playstyle is chase-style play. Whether she`s the chaser or chasee makes no difference, as long as she can run! Thus far Cleo has showed socially appropriate behavior with all the puppers we have paired her with. Check her out in action, here: https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLS5FLiVr89so6gQPw6Hu0VBOHP-bZZx9r&si=VlXOTx3eeBF7EMPP.She has tended not to prefer to mingle with the dogs who play at a very rough/physical/intense level, so if her furever home has a dog, one that has softer play skills would be preferred. Unfortunately we have no in home notes about how she has done with cats/kids, so slow introductions would be needed.
If you want to be the lucky home that calls Cleo all yours, head into MACC to adopt this smiley girl!
