My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

MEET KAVAN! - I am in a foster home, please contact the shelter to learn more

Kavan is a friendly leopard gecko who was surrendered to our shelter after he was abandoned by his previous owner. Despite his past, he is a very hardy fellow with a big appetite for live insects and great personality. He enjoys exploring and enjoys having new hides added to his enclosure. However he is just as happy to bask in the sun or take a nap in his humid hide.

Leopard geckos have very specific enclosure, nutritional and husbandry needs. Our staff will need to approve a photo of an enclosure prior to adoption. Leo`s should be kept in a 20 gallon long or a 30 gallon tank at minimum. They will need a heat source and proper hides in their enclosure so they can practice species-specific behaviors.

Kavan is currently up to date on all vaccinations, has been spayed/neutered, microchipped and been seen by our vet team.

For more information on Kavan or any other animal currently residing at the Animal Rescue League of Boston, please call us at 617-426-9170. We welcome adopters from NH, RI, CT, and NY. However, we will be unable to facilitate same day adoptions due to state regulated paperwork requirements. Also, be sure to check out our:
