I`m Skylar, the sweetest and most loyal sidekick you`ll ever meet! As a superhero-in-training, I love following my humans around and being by their side 24/7. My superpower is making everyone I meet feel safe and loved. Despite my clingy nature, I promise I`ll never get in the way of your heroic adventures. I have previously done well living with another dog, although I might get a little nervous around new people. But don`t worry, I`ll warm up to you in no time! With my friendly and affectionate personality, I`ll be your number one fan and the best crime-fighting companion a superhero could ask for.
I am full grown at ~50 lbs.
How did I get here? Surrendered when my owner could no longer care for me.

Adoption Fees:
Dogs 7 months and older: $95
Puppies 6 months and younger: $300
Cats 7 months and older: $45
Kittens 6 months and younger: $150
Rabbits: $35
Guinea pigs: $15

Adoption fees for dogs and cats include:
First vaccinations, spay/neuter surgery, microchipping, deworming and flea preventative.

All cats and kittens have been tested for Feline Leukemia (FeLV) and Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV).

All dogs and puppies have received heartworm preventative, and dogs/puppies over the age of six months have been tested for heartworms.

All rabbits are spayed or neutered.

The SPCA of Wake County is a local, independent, non-profit organization that receives no government funding or tax dollars. We rely almost entirely on private donations to fund our annual operating budget of $3 million.
