*** Adoption fee sponsored to help Wu-Tang find a home ***
Wu-Tang's best fit home would have the following:
1. A doggie friend who likes to play and pal around. Wu-Tang often follows the lead of other dogs and they boost his confidence.
2. Patient adopters willing to help build his confidence outside the home on walks and seeing/experiencing new things. Wu-Tang is a little nervous on walks but does pretty well with a dog friend along.
3. A fully fenced yard for play and zoomies.
Wu-Tang is an older puppy that was rescued out of Beavercreek, Oregon. He was part of an accidental litter and his owner's reached out to us for help. The litter had been living in a chicken coop on some rural property. We jumped in to help the situation and rescue Wu-Tang and his litter mates.
- Date of birth: 1/26/24
- Border Collie/Australian Cattle Dog/Husky mix. We have an Embark DNA test pending as of 10/3/24!
- 38 pounds at 8 months old and likely will top out at about 42-ish pounds but we cannot guarantee size at maturity.
- He is a snuggly, affectionate sponge of a puppy who just wants love and to be included in a family. He has lived outside most of his life but is quickly learning how good it is to live indoors in a foster home.
- Does well with his potty habits
- Goes in his crate willingly, eats his meals in there and is able to be crated while you're gone from the home.
- Fostered with other dogs and is playful and loves having a buddy
- Fostered with a cat and does well
- We have not seen him with young kids but he is very sweet so we think he would be fine with kids ages 5+
Wu-Tang is fully vaccinated, neutered, microchipped, heartworm tested negative, dewormed, and current on flea/tick/heartworm prevention. We will have DNA test results on his breed mix soon! His adoption fee also includes a free wellness exam at on of our partner veterinary clinics in Portland, Tualatin, Oregon City or Milwaukie.

All of our dogs are in foster homes that help them to learn to be good house guests. Our foster dogs thrive in a home environment rather than a scary shelter where they would become stressed. Plus we gain lots of good information about the dog's personalities in a foster home setting.
All foster homes are located within 45 minutes of Portland, Oregon. Once we receive your adoption application and chat with you, we will provide you the foster home's contact information that has the dog you're interested in meeting.
