My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Aries! This handsome guy is so very special! A total velcro boy! He is 5 yrs old & had such a sad first 5 yrs of his life. He lived alone, isolated in a very small backyard from the time he was brought home as a puppy, all the way until we picked him up in July at 5 yrs old. He had never known life outside of that tiny backyard, heat or cold. But even with that terrible start in life that lasted 5 yrs, he LOVES people, LOVES walks, LOVES toys, has learned to love car rides and loves other dogs! His foster mom has slowly & carefully helped him to experience each of these things plus going to families homes, meeting other dogs outside of his foster home, and he even did great at the vet & all the staff fell in love with him. This guy is one of those extra special guys. But he will need someone to go slow with him with new experiences. And he needs another dog in his forever home he can play with, plus he feeds off of another dog's confidence & follows their lead. He LOVES being inside & he is potty trained. He has not been in a crate but does well behind a baby gate. He is a total gem.

More about this rescue

We are an all-volunteer rescue organization that uses a network of people who love Dobermans to transport dogs, perform home visits, and check references. We are a 100% foster home based rescue and do not have a kennel or facility you can visit. Each of our dogs are in different foster dogs an we schedule meet/greets with approved applicants with dogs of interest who are a potential match for their home.

We run entirely on donations. If you can't adopt a dog at this time, why not consider making a financial contribution to provide the food and veterinary care of the dogs we rescue? It allows us to save more dogs. Using Paypal.com, send to jennifer.rentfrow@live.com
