As lovely as the moon for which she was named, 1-year-old Luna is slowly settling into life in her foster home. While initially shy, once this tiny 10-pound pup felt comfortable, she eagerly accepted her fosters’ affection, revealing how sweet and friendly she truly is. She now enjoys lying next to her foster mom on the couch, giving her paw to ask for love, turning over for tummy rubs and sleeping beside her in bed at night. Moderately energetic, Luna also enjoys engaging with her doggy foster friends of various sizes, playing with a tennis ball, chewing on elk/antelope horns and practicing her leash skills in the backyard in preparation for leash walking on the street. Comfortable during car rides, motivated by food and love, she currently knows “come,” “sit,” “stay” and “no,” is never crated and is almost fully house-trained to use a doggy door. With much yet to learn and much love to share, Luna will light up the lives of a loving home, preferably with another dog as both mentor and playmate, that will bolster her confidence, complete her training, including her commands, and ensure that she’s happy fur-ever.

We'll ask you to read and sign our adoption agreement and pay the adoption fee to complete the adoption when it comes time. Our adoption fees help cover the costs of saving more lives! A home visit will be scheduled within one week of your new pet going home with you.
