Meet SheRa
Hi there! My name is SheRa, and I'm a brave, strong, and loving pup looking for my forever home. I’ve been through some tough times, but just like the superheroine I'm named after, I never gave up. I may have started my journey on the streets, but now I’m ready to find a family who will love me as much as I’ll love them.
I’m about 3 years old, weigh 65 pounds, and I’m spayed and microchipped. I’ve had all my shots and completed heartworm treatment like a champ. I’m feeling great now and am on preventative meds to keep those pesky worms away for good.
I’m a sweet and loyal girl who loves humans and other dogs. Being part of a family makes me so happy! I’m usually pretty calm and quiet, but when I’m excited, you’ll see me wagging my tail and bouncing around with joy. I’m also really smart—I learned commands like sit, lay down, and shake super fast, and I love when you praise me for being a good girl. My eyes will tell you just how much I love you.
I enjoy running, playing, and going for walks, but I’m also a big fan of cuddling. I’ll happily snuggle up next to you or lay across your lap to give you kisses. I’m crate-trained, and I feel safe and cozy sleeping in my crate at night. I’m also potty-trained and have never had an accident—how cool is that?
I’m strong and muscular, just like a typical American Staffordshire Terrier, but I’ve got a gentle heart and a whole lot of love to give. I know I’d thrive in a loving home where I can be your loyal companion, protector, and best friend.
If you think I could be the perfect addition to your family, I’d love to meet you! Let’s see if I’m the princess you’ve been looking for.

Additional adoption info
We are extremely thorough with our adoption process. Our goal is to find the best fit for our dogs. We reserve the right to deny anyone a dog if we feel the applicant is not qualified or is not a good fit for the dog at our discretion. We require two personal references that we call to check character and get a recommendation on why or why not the applicant is a good candidate. Also, we call the vet reference to be sure the applicants current dog is current on vaccinations and heartworm prevention. The home check is mandatory to be sure the applicant lives where they say they live and the pet will live in a safe environment.
