My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

SPECIAL ADOPTION RATE FOR THIS DEADLINE LISTED DOG - ADOPT FOR JUST $83 includes microchip, vaccines, spay/neuter and rabies.

SHELTER IS FULL and this dog has been placed on the DEADLINE LIST. They need you NOW! The situation is dire and this dog's life is in danger.

WE ARE COURTESY POSTING THIS DOG FOR THE MORENO VALLEY ANIMAL SHELTER TO HELP THEM FIND A HOME. The shelter is severely overcrowded and desperately needs help. Dogs are being turned in higher numbers than the shelter can accommodate, therefore many are losing their lives due to lack of cage space. We are helping get the word out of their immediate need. Please save this deserving pooch and clear a kennel for another dog in need today!

PLEASE RESPOND TO THIS POST IF INTERESTED IN FOSTERING FOR A RESCUE UNTIL THEY FIND A FOREVER HOME IF YOU ARE UNABLE TO ADOPT BUT CAN HELP BY FOSTERING (INCLUDE YOUR LOCATION/CITY AND HOW LONG YOU CAN FOSTER)

This beautiful dog is located in the Moreno Valley shelter. Please feel free to reach out to us with questions. Thank you!

KYLE - ID#A536262
I am a male, tricolor Siberian Husky mix.
The shelter thinks I am about 2 years old.
I weigh approximately 65.80 lbs.

Kyle came in with a smaller sized dog who was just adopted, now leaving Kyle alone. He's a sweet, submissive boy. Staff notes:
A536260 and A536262 came in together and are being kenneled together without issues.
07/31/24 Brought them both treats today. They were sweet and friendly. Came up to the shelter door and offered kisses. Took treats gently. Nice pups.
09/12/24 Took out to the play yard for pictures and videos. Sent video/picture for social media for posting. He was easy to leash and walk to yard. Once in the yard, he was shy and submissive. Every time I approached him, he would submit and lay down. It took him a few minutes to not be afraid but still behaved timid. He's very sweet and allowed all pets and scratches. Just had to go slow as he seemed afraid of rapid hand movement. Nice boy, well mannered.

Additional adoption info

Upon initial inquiry on one of our pets, we begin the process by having all potential adopters complete an adoption application. If approved, we then set up a face to face meeting with the pet you are interested in. A home and yard check is required prior to adoption. Once adoption is finalized, an adoption fee is collected, an adoption contract is agreed to and signed by both parties, and the animal is turned over to it's new adoptive owner/family. Follow ups take place during the first month to insure the pet and the household is adjusting to the pet, and any issues, questions or concerns are addressed.
