My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Chameleon is a lovable and playful puppy ready to find her forever home! She interacts wonderfully with dogs, happily joining in their playtime and enjoying plenty of cuddles. On car rides, she’s a dream—calm and content, often falling asleep as you travel.

This smart pup already knows how to sit and go to her kennel, and she’s quick to learn new commands. Chameleon has a curious spirit and loves to explore her surroundings, all while being relatively calm for her age.

She’s a big fan of chew toys and will keep herself entertained for hours. With her food-driven nature, training her will be a breeze!

The process is quite simple! Please stop by and see for yourself. All animals are spayed/neutered, dewormed, vaccinated, and microchipped prior to going home.

Sunday: 10:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.

More about this shelter

We are a non-profit open intake shelter that serves all of East Baton Rouge parish. We strive to improve the lives of abandoned, unwanted and abused animals in our parish. We house approximately 400 animals at any given time. We take in 20-30 new animals a day. We are always in need of fosters both short and long term, donations, and volunteers.
