Amber enjoys living inside in her foster home, but has found the other animals less than desirable. She would love to find a home where she is either the only kitty or the only other kitty. Her general feeling is that she could tolerate one other kitty in the home, but she would like to have all of the attention. We realize these homes can be few and far between, but we are hoping sweet grumpy Amber can find her forever home one day!

Fees range from $80 to $150 depending on age and breed.

We have a weekly adoption fair at Petco in Danville, Va. where we bring some of our dogs and cats. Most are fostered in members' homes. If you see a dog on our web site, please call us and we will make an appointment for you to meet. We make every effort to match the dogs with their prospective homes. More about this rescue

We are a group of dedicated volunteers formed in 2007 to increase adoptions and reduce the kill rate from our local pound. We foster, vet, transfer and love all the dogs that we rescue and make every possible effort to place them in forever loving homes. We also operate a food bank to help keep pets in their homes. We are totally dependent on volunteers and donations from animal lovers like ourselves. We are saving and placing 20-30 dogs a month who would have been euthanized.
