Meet Speedway! She's the perfect balance of calm and playful, with a sweet, loving temperament that makes her a wonderful companion. Speedway loves nothing more than snuggling up with her head on your lap, but she's also happy to entertain herself with her favorite toys. Whether it's chewing on a toy, carrying around her stuffies, or going for a walk, she enjoys her playtime, though she's just as content relaxing by your side.

Speedway is great with other dogs and is currently living with a foster sister, getting along wonderfully with her. While she's never lived with children, she's friendly with them and would likely do well in a family setting. She's potty and crate trained and a quick learner, currently working on leash manners, staying, and not jumping.

This low-maintenance, calm girl would thrive in a home that offers a mix of activity and lots of affection. If you're looking for a loving, easygoing companion who enjoys both playtime and quiet moments of snuggling, Speedway could be your perfect match!

Step two:
Using the provided contact form here or on the APA! website, you can send an inquiry on the animal(s) you are interested in.

Step three:
Our adoption team will connect you to the foster home or someone at the shelter location where the animal is currently living to learn more about the animal and potentially set up a visit!

Step four:
After meeting the animal you would like to adopt, instructions for completing the adoption paperwork, scheduling an appointment, and picking up your new family member will be shared with you!
