My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Nina is currently in foster care and available to meet you via virtual meet and greet. To begin the process, please submit an adoption survey and the team will reach out via email with next steps (please check spam). For any additional questions, please contact fosternyc@bestfriends.org.

Nina is a very sweet, loving and adorable 1 year old gal ready to find her adoptive match!
She is always up for cuddles and being pet. She like to play gently, sheis a pretty calm girl. Nina is a lap cat, she will stretch out and lie on you when you recline and purr up a storm. Her foster says she is incredibly sweet and that Nina sleeps with her every night; "Nina came in, and immediately started asking for pets and exploring! She has since become the ruler of the apartment. It's hers. We just use it sometimes. She is incredibly social and cuddly. She sleeps and cuddles in one of the bedrooms with myself or one of my roommates every night (she decides- we just leave the doors open), and every morning, she greets you with little meows and lots of leg rubs. She eats well, has regular bowel movements, and has truly been a delight to have her in our home...Nina loves cuddles and pets all the time! She's always wanting to be the center of attention. Especially if you are the only one home, she will be right at your side, following you from room to room. If you are horizontal, she will most likely be on top of you purring. She is also very playful! In classic cat fashion, her favorite play things are a cardboard box and some yarn. She plays very gently when your body is involved too! We've never been scratched or bitten by her in play or otherwise".

Perhaps one of the lovliest comments put out there by one of our fosters came in this week for Nina when her fosters said "Nina in the last week, has been the heart of the home. She reminds all of us to be gentle and loving. Her cuddles are so scrumptious, and she's an amazing explorer of the cosmos". Nina is a very special girl indeed.
