My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Peachy! She is a sweet thing aged at around six years old & 48 pounds. If you are looking for a quiet, low maintenance, built in bestie this is the girl for you! When Peachy sees her person it's electric. Excitement takes over her whole body with wiggles and her tail is unstoppable. Peachy is hard of hearing but it doesn't affect her one bit!

Peachy is house broken, kennel trained & knows how to sit for treats and her leash. Peachy is treat motivated and enjoys a peanut butter lick mat and frosty paws! Peachy isn't a fan of toys but she loves a good bone!

Peachy enjoys slow strolls outside, walks well on a leash, lives for rolling in the grass & belly rubs. Princess Peachy is up for a car ride, loves giving kisses & paw to anyone and everyone she meets!

The process is quite simple! Please stop by and see for yourself. All animals are spayed/neutered, dewormed, vaccinated, and microchipped prior to going home.

Tuesday - Saturday:10:00 am - 6:00 pm
Sunday: 10:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.

More about this shelter

We are a non-profit open intake shelter that serves all of East Baton Rouge parish. We strive to improve the lives of abandoned, unwanted and abused animals in our parish. We house approximately 400 animals at any given time. We take in 20-30 new animals a day. We are always in need of fosters both short and long term, donations, and volunteers.
