My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Jolene is one year old and 35 pounds - and is a sweet and friendly girl! She is super friendly - to people and dogs - and loves to cuddle. She is housebroken, sleeps all night in her crate, and already knows sit. Jolene loves going on walks, playing with other dogs, and sleeping in the sun. She's a great work companion - as she's very happy to hang quietly near her person, and also does great in her crate when she's home alone. When she's excited - when her people come home from work or she meets new people - she can be jumpy (in a fun-loving puppy sort of way), but she's doing great with some redirection (and now understands that sitting gets her a treat!). Jolene is excited to meet her very lucky forever family!

Better Together Dog Rescue supports dogs and the people who love them through adoption and community resources.

We parter with shelters around the country to transfer dogs in from overcrowded shelters.

We provide pet food and supplies to dog owners through our mobile pantry and work with local veterinarians for low cost vaccines, microchips and spay/neuter options.
