My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Thalia, a 4-year-old tortie point Siamese with a heart full of potential. This cross-eyed beauty was surrendered to a shelter with high euthanasia rates, Thalia was understandably shaken and took some time to come out of her shell. Losing her home was a traumatic experience, and she's still learning to trust again. Even still, she's a sweet girl.

Thalia is looking for a calm, understanding home with experienced cat owners who can appreciate the journey of helping a shy cat blossom. She thrives in an adult-only environment where she can feel safe and secure. Like most torties, Thalia has a bit of tortitude and is apt to tell you when she's had enough attention. Since we don't know her history with other pets, Thalia may do best as the only pet in her new home, where she can be the center of attention. We do know though, that she doesn't care for other cats.

If you're patient, compassionate, and ready to help Thalia rediscover the joys of life, she's ready to find her forever home with you.

More about this rescue

Denver Kittens is focused on reducing animal suffering by pulling animals from high-euthanasia shelters, particularly harder-to-adopt animals, such as those with FIV or bonded pairs, and finding them loving homes in the Denver Metro Area. We also aim to reduce over-population, and therefore reduce animal suffering and euthanasia, by supporting trap, neuter, return efforts in our community and increasing access to spay and neuter.
