My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Minnie was found on an abandoned property along with quite a number of other cats and kittens. She is now looking for a new place to call home. Minnie is not socialized around humans but would enjoy living her life outside, and she's happy to help you take care of rodents as a thank you. Her ideal home is a big barn or shop to stay safe from predators. Minnie is currently housed with Bernie and Barry, and she would love if they could go to their new home together.

Go meet their pets

Our pets are currently in foster homes as well as we have a program with the local women's prison. With the prison the animals live in the room with the inmate handler and receive socialization and training. We have just recently added dogs to our program with the prison. Generally the pets are brought to our office for their meet and greets and adoptions. We also partner with Ziggy's Cat Lounge in Bremerton for our cats and kittens.

More about this rescue

We are a small but mighty Humane Society serving an underserved county with adoption, spay and neuter, wellness, stray recovery, and other animal related services. Currently we are all foster as we don't have a shelter yet, but we have a 5 acre parcel we are going to build a shelter on. We have started the planning process with Shelter Planners of America.
